Role Overview: We are on the lookout for a dynamic Marketing Manager to join our expanding Energy, Water, and Resources (EWR) team in the West Geography. This pivotal role involves steering proposal direction and content, articulating our values through marketing materials, and engaging in diverse marketing activities. The ideal candidate will excel in communicating our value through various channels, including presentations, client meetings, and proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with EWR leaders to develop a unified marketing strategy for Water and Energy, establishing both short-term and long-term objectives.
  • Lead and participate in strategy sessions for capture planning and assist in conducting client and market research.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of go/no-go decision processes.
  • Assist Business Leaders in crafting client engagement strategies, including organizing client meetings, workshops, and industry events.
  • Formulate client-centric win strategies for proposals and statements of qualifications.
  • Manage the preparation of competitive proposals, qualification packages, and interview presentations, with support from junior team members.
  • Maintain and enhance marketing assets, providing constructive feedback and actively participating in content improvement.
  • Develop new marketing content such as presentations, brochures, and project case studies to support the water/energy sectors and emerging themes.
  • Work with global EWR marketing teams to integrate global expertise into local client solutions.
  • Lead pre-interview planning and presentation rehearsals, ensuring the application of established win strategies, themes, and differentiators.
  • Supervise marketing materials, manage the water business pipeline in CRM, and strategize for industry conferences and events.
  • Mentor Marketing Coordinators and Marketing Assistants in client engagement, pursuit processes, interviews, and key marketing practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience or knowledge in the water or renewable energy sector in the US is advantageous, or a willingness to learn.
  • At least 7 years of experience in the AEC industry.
  • Proven experience with large-scale prime proposals.
  • Skilled in developing market-facing capabilities brochures.
  • Experience working with water municipal agencies.
  • Self-assured, proactive, and able to work independently with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Involvement with local water or energy organizations is a plus.
  • Interest in external business development activities is a plus.
