Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team in the design and implementation of electrical systems for manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, project management, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality engineering solutions in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the electrical engineering team in project execution and system design.
- Oversee the development and implementation of electrical systems in manufacturing processes.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, UL508, and OSHA standards in all engineering projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met.
- Utilize AutoCAD and EPLAN for designing electrical systems and schematics.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.
- Provide technical guidance and support to engineering staff and other departments.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies and processes to improve efficiency and safety.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3 years in a management role.
- Strong knowledge of PLC, HMI, and electrical designs for OEM manufacturing.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and EPLAN software.
- Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, particularly forming and metal work.
- Strong project management skills and experience leading engineering teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
