Job Description

The primary purpose of this role is to acquire in-depth knowledge of MCP's data/products/solutions. The Innovation Engineer will collaborate with the growth and prospecting teams across MCP to provide Subject Matter Expertise during the sales process. This includes attending sales meetings, participating in sales calls, and assisting with demonstrations. The position will be responsible for the following essential functions:
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with potential customers to understand their needs, challenges, and requirements. Offer tailored solutions and address any concerns or questions they may have.
  • Services: Educate potential customers on services and capabilities offered by MCP.
  • Presentations: Prepare and deliver use case specific presentations to both internal teams and external customers. This may involve explaining complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the use case and value propositions to potential customers.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics. Provide insights and recommendations to the growth and prospecting teams based on customer feedback and market analysis.
  • Training and Knowledge Transfer: Conduct workshops to educate internal teams on market use cases and functionality. Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools to effectively sell to potential customers.
  • Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with other teams such as solutions development, engineering, partner programs, provider market and customer support to provide feedback, share customer insights, and contribute to roadmap discussions.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field OR 8+ years' experience in relevant field
  • 3-5 years' experience in relevant field as defined in preferred experience
  • 3-5 years of Healthcare experience
  • Experience applying problem-solving methodologies, planning techniques, continuous improvement methods and analytical tools and methodologies.
  • Ability to effectively present to internal and external groups at a high-level representing Mayo Clinic Platform.
  • Experience with clinical system implementation, deployment, and support
  • Must have the ability to manage a varied workload of projects with multiple priorities and stay current on healthcare trends and enterprise changes.
  • Requires strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and recommend solutions, advance computer application skills and a commitment to customer service.
  • Must have a demonstrated understanding of the health technology industry and understanding of new technology opportunities.
  • Must demonstrate the skill to communicate technology and data-based product solutions to advance medical care.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with a variety of different people with diverse backgrounds.
  • Must have ability and confidence to effectively function both dependently and independently, be a team player and a self-starter.

Solutions Preferred Experience:
  • In lieu of degree must have 8 years' experience as a solutions architect or digital solutions field.
  • 3-5 years' experience in Healthcare solutions or healthcare technology management, deployment and/or analysis, or other relatable experience.
  • Experience with complex integrations, web applications, EHR interfaces, and/or SaaS configuration.
  • Experience with product and technology demonstrations
  • Experience with cloud technologies.
  • Experience with electronic health records or ancillary healthcare software.
  • Experience with complex integrations, web applications, and SaaS configuration.
