SUMMARY

Reporting to the Sr. Director Strategic Sales, this is a key sales role responsible for creating new growth opportunities through alternative channels, niche markets, consultants, and key end user relationships.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Responsible for strategic customers, channels, and influencers to expand Hoshizaki's reach into the ice machine and refrigeration markets
  • Manage existing and cultivate new relationships with national accounts, chains, government entities, and food service consultants
  • Identify new Hoshizaki strategic avenues including creating new channels where necessary (for example, institutional customers, such as medical / healthcare)
  • Work closely to support Regional Sales to help drive sales through traditional distributor and dealer channels
  • Work closely with Regional Sales team to find synergistic opportunities across respective customers and channels
  • Demonstrate strong compliance, professionalism and align words and actions with the corporate values and principles


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum 10 years in roles in food service industry and at least Director-level responsibility
  • Experience with "strategic" accounts is preferred (chains, institutions, consultants)

  • Strong analytic capability in using data to navigate strategy and results
  • Ability to consistently demonstrate sound judgment in decision making
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to deal positively with conflict
  • Efficient and effective time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels and across all functions of Hoshizaki and represent the enterprise effectively with customer and strategic partner organizations
  • Has a solutions mindset that addresses problems facing complex business situations
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Can be remote
  • Ability to travel 50%


PHYSCIAL REQUIREMENTS

Non-Manufacturing:
  • Typically work is in an office environment where the noise level is low to moderate
  • Requires standing and/or sitting for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to lift boxes/materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Requires telephone work and/or computer work, as well as interactions with other employees and customers
  • Ability to read, write, listen, and communicate effectively
