This position reports to the Head of Medical Affairs, Essential Health, NA and is based at Summit, NJ.

Pay: $107,000- $171,925
What you will do
The Associate Manager, Medical Sciences - Essential Health serves as the medical affairs expert with a primary focus on Oral Care and Baby. The associate may be asked to help support other areas and need states as the business needs dictate. The primary objectives of the role will be to achieve organizational objectives as well as executing research and evaluation of the medical literature to maintain and expand the therapeutic areas related to our products; provide scientific, strategic and technical support to medical activities intended to expand our current portfolio or bring new products to market (e.g. new product development, market expansion, acquisition support, etc.).

What you will do

Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of medical affairs strategies in alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of medical information to internal and external stakeholders
- Development of medical affairs/medical communications documents to facilitate the seamless flow of scientific information related to our products to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Understand clinical trials and help inform business about development pathways and data generation opportunities.
- Training of employees and business partners (internal and external) who require in-depth scientific knowledge of our products, disease states and oral health.
- Support ongoing relationships with identified key opinion leaders to achieve business results.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical and scientific advancements in the field to inform decision-making and support strategy development
- Support the design and implementation of medical affairs programs aligned with organizational objectives
- Review promotional material and ensure compliance with regulations
- Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with high ethical/quality standards and all applicable policies and procedures.
- Track budgets and timelines
- Maintain collaborative working relationship between medical affairs and internal partners
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
- Life science degree (eg PharmD, MS, Ph.D.)
- 2-5 years related experience in pharma or cosmetics industry
- Strong knowledge of regulations and guidelines related to clinical trials and medical affairs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications
- Proven track record of success in medical affairs or a related field
- Knowledge of the Consumer Health industry
- Ability to think strategically and creatively to develop innovative solutions to complex problems
