The Azure Data Insights and Analytics team is looking for a talented Principal Program Manager to join its leadership team. Our work is highly visible, requiring leadership maturity, extensive executive communication, proven project management skills, robust execution, and deep expertise in leveraging data insights to drive measurable business outcomes.
The Azure Data Insights and Analytics team builds and maintains analytics solutions that power strategic insights across Azure Data, driving significant impact on revenue, usage, and customer satisfaction. We are also the Customer 0 Engineering organization for Microsoft Fabric, proactively developing innovative solutions across all Fabric workloads. As early adopters, we provide critical feedback that shapes product development and enhances customer experiences, directly influencing design decisions across Real-Time Analytics, Data Engineering, Data Science, Business Intelligence, Data Integration, and Copilot capabilities.

Responsibilities:
- Leading strategic analytics projects that inform key business decisions impacting Azure Data revenue, customer usage, and satisfaction.
- Managing end-to-end data product project lifecycles along with our engineering organization, ensuring timely execution and alignment with organizational priorities and business goals.
- Partnering closely with Microsoft Fabric engineering teams, providing early insights and feedback that refine product capabilities and enhance customer satisfaction by analyzing our competitors offering
- Delivering executive-level insights and communications, effectively articulating analytical findings to senior stakeholders to guide strategic decision-making.
- Leveraging advanced data analytics methodologies and tools to uncover actionable insights and drive continuous improvement across Azure Data and Microsoft Fabric offerings.

Qualifications:
Required /Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years' experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis (Azure PAAS and/or Microsoft Fabric), or product development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:
- This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years' experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis (Azure PAAS and/or Microsoft Fabric), or product development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
- Demonstrated experience leveraging analytics tools (SQL Server, Analytics workloads: Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, DevOps)
