Job Description

Primary Job Function:

Position is responsible for the developing project plans, ongoing management, and delivery of process improvement projects.The incumbent is responsible for maintaining, monitoring and improving existing controls to ensure compliance with OEC, Legal and Financial policies and procedures. The incumbent is expected to work cross functionally within the commercial contracting organization in order to proactively identify trends and/or issues that may occur within the rebate, contracting, membership and chargeback areas. This role will facilitate business system support with IT Business Analysts to ensure system functions/features are working as expected and as efficient as possible.

Core Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead/facilitate projects which address improvements in all aspects of the Commercial Organization (people, process, product launches and other ad hoc projects) through employee engagement
  • Serve as an independent reviewer and monitor for all commercial contracting control activities. Complete reviews according to monitoring plans, report findings and resolve any identified control deviations.
  • Serve as commercial lead and provide business support during internal / external audits, as required
  • Develop and drive solutions/strategies to issues faced by the businesses and implement necessary training and process controls around all implemented revisions.
  • Develop realistic project plans, track and meet respective pre-defined milestones, provide ongoing updates and reporting to management
  • Provide ongoing system training and cross functional knowledge sharing to improve business awareness and enhance operational performance and process compliance.
  • Support an environment of continuous process improvement to enhance controls, promote ethics and compliance initiatives, ensure timely completion of required training and assist with the onboarding of new employees. Address adhoc business requests, as needed.
  • Other responsibilities included but not limited to:
  • SAP payment monitoring
  • Monthly payment reconciliation
  • Contract approvals reporting and communication
  • Manufacturer Discount Program, Discarded Drug Program, and Coverage GAP payment processing
  • 340b Counter disputes payment processing


  • Supervisory/Management Responsibilities:

    Manage staff of one financial analyst

    Qualifications

    Skills/Experience Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
    • Minimum 7+ years of progressive and related experience.
    • Strong financial, analytical and problem solving skills
    • Extensive Microsoft Access, Excel, & SAP system knowledge.
    • Strong leadership and communications skills.
    • Proven ability to influence and gain alignment among cross-functional stakeholders
    • Experience developing project plans in complex technical environments
    • The ability to manage and coordinate multiple activities and due dates, and shifting priorities, under tight timeframes.
