What you'll do
  • Researches and develops ground-breaking technologies meeting standards and timelines.
  • Steers and facilitates knowledge sharing and supports project teams in solving problems.
  • Contributes actively in scientific publications and forums with papers and presentations.
  • Identifies opportunities for new technology, products or performance improvements.
  • Acts as an ambassador for the scientific community of Henkel BU.
  • Identifies and engages valuable external partners.
  • This role is fully onsite. Selected candidate will be expected to work in the office 5 days per week.
What makes you a good fit
  • Master's or PhD degree in chemistry with prior laboratory experience preferred.
  • Previous experience of 3-5+ years in an Analytical laboratory highly desirable.
  • Knowledge and experience with XPS, GC-MS, ICP, IC, SEM/EDS and FTIR is desirable.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, with good time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail with flexibility to work on several projects simultaneously.
  • Strong chemical math skills.
  • Solid interpersonal skills with ability to coach and mentor other team members.

The salary for this role is $85,000.00 - $95,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
