The Project Manager oversees all aspects of construction project execution, ensuring smooth operations and timely completion. This role requires exceptional leadership, organizational skills, and the ability tomanage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The Project Manager is responsible for financial oversight, including budgeting, cost management, andprocurement, while coordinating with contractors, vendors, clients, andinternal teams. Attention to detail, effective communication, and strong decision-making abilities are essential for ensuring project success. Professionalism and a proactive approach are key to delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.
What You'll Do:
Plan, schedule, and manage project operations, including labor, material procurement, cost control, and client relationships.
Serve as the primary company contact for general contractors, owners, and end users throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare and process RFIs, ensuring effective communication and progress.
Oversee all financial aspects of projects, including budgets, purchase orders, subcontracts, invoices, and billings, ensuring timely updates.
Facilitate change order pricing and maintain proper documentation.
Procure materials and manage tracking logs to ensure timely deliveries and adherence to project specifications and schedules.
Review project drawings and specifications, ensuring alignment with requirements.
Attend meetings to coordinate project activities and track progress.

What You Bring:
- Project Management Expertise: Proven experience in managing construction projects, especially in the electrical construction industry.
- RFIs and Change Orders: Skilled in handling RFIs and managing change orders.
- Leadership: Ability to mentor and oversee a team of 5, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong background in electrical design, project engineering, and electrical engineering.
- Estimation and Coordination: Experience in estimation, cost management, procurement, and scheduling.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Bluebeam.
- Problem Solver: Excellent problem-solving abilities with a positive approach to solutions.
- Organized and Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Educational Background : High school diploma or GED required; degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Industry Experience: 10+ years in Electrical Engineering Field, 5+ as a Project Manager
- Exciting Projects: Work on the Sacramento Railyards project, one of the most ambitious and long-term projects in the area.
- Great Team: Join a team of approximately 12 members, including administration, project managers, and superintendents.
