Network Engineer

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Strong experience in Fortinet firewalls (FortiOS configuration,FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer is a plus)
• Firewall troubleshooting, policy design, and VPN (IPSec/SSL)configuration
• Deep understanding of network security principles, segmentation,IDS/IPS, and threat protection
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, NAT, ACLs
• Familiarity with network securitymonitoring and logging tools

Roles & Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Fortinet (FortiGate)firewalls
• Define and manage security policies, NAT rules, VPNs, webfiltering, and intrusion prevention
• Monitor firewall logs and alerts; respond to incidents andsecurity breaches
• Collaborate with IT and compliance teams to ensure secure accessand network segmentation
• Support LAN and SD-WAN infrastructure, especially duringcross-functional implementations or escalations
• Conduct regular audits, rule reviews, and compliance checks
• Document firewall configurations, network diagrams, and incidentresponse steps
• Support network upgrades, migrations, and change control processes
• Participate in security assessments and vulnerability mitigationinitiatives
• Stay up to date on latest cybersecurity threatsand industry best practices

Salary Range: $63,400-$137,000 a year
