FP&A Manager Job Summary:
Kenworth Sales Co. seeks an experienced FP&A Manager to play a key role in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making. This position offers high visibility, working closely with senior leadership to optimize financial performance and drive business growth.
FP&A Manager Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes. Analyze key drivers of financial performance and present strategic recommendations. Develop financial models to assess profitability, operational efficiency opportunities, and business trends. Oversee the annual budgeting process in collaboration with department heads. Conduct variance analysis, monitor financial performance, and adjust forecasts as needed. Provide financial insights to support operational and strategic decision-making. Prepare and present financial reports for senior leadership. Develop dashboards and reporting tools to enhance visibility into financial performance. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for business improvement.
FP&A Manager Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. 5+ years of experience in FP&A. Strong proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial planning software and ERP systems. Experience with Power BI and Microsoft DataVerse is a plus.
Working Conditions
This position involves both sedentary and other work. For part of the shift, s/he will work at a desk in an office setting, doing paperwork, typing, filing, and key entry on a Video Display Terminal. Extensive telephone and correspondence work required on a daily basis. For part of the shift, s/he will stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach, moving about the dealership facility to communicate with managers, employees, and customers. S/he will be required to travel within and outside the State, both by car and by airplane on a monthly basis. Will be exposed to noise,
dust, exhaust fumes, and a variety of other hazardous and nonhazardous materials
