Job Title: Cybersecurity Manager
Job Duties: Rush University Medical Center seeks a Cybersecurity Manager in Chicago, IL to develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity programs including disaster recovery (DR) governance and cybersecurity education and awareness. Work with Digital and Information Services leadership, Infrastructure, Corporate Communications, and other stakeholders to ensure that information security controls are implemented and operating effectively. Provide information security consulting. Evaluate existing systems and procedures and make recommendations for improvements of systems controls and processes. Ensure that management and employees are informed about compliance reporting systems, policies, and practices. Provide employee training on relevant compliance related topics, policies, or procedures. Identify relevant compliance issues that require follow up or investigation. Prepare management reports regarding relevant compliance operations and progress. Review internal and external communications to ensure that there are no violations of standards or regulations. Stay updated on industry changes, trends, or best practices. Verify software technology is in place to adequately provide oversight and monitoring in all required areas. Responsible for the governance process for our DR Program, including program documentation including a DR Plan, Business Impact Analysis (BIA), IT DR exercises, reviews, training, and scorecards and metrics, development, and execution. Develop and execute IT DR testing exercises and for the development, tracking, and reporting of IT DR scorecards and metrics. Purchase and maintain tools or IT systems used to manage and track IT DR processes and documentation. Oversee and develop strategy, goals, and objectives for the Cybersecurity education and awareness program. Oversee the corporate phishing program. Supervise cybersecurity personnel. Telecommuting permitted 5 days per week. Salary: $130,728 - $194,812/year.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field of study and 5 years of experience in information security or a related occupation. Experience must include 5 years of experience with each of the following: cybersecurity GRC, IT DR, audit management, project or program management, and cybersecurity education and awareness; analyzing and presenting critical cybersecurity information to all levels of staff from general employees to executives; sourcing, analyzing, negotiating with, selecting, and managing third-party cybersecurity and IT vendors; cybersecurity education and awareness processes, IT DR program governance controls, and program management practices; investigating and discovering root challenges, issues, and complex implementations to uncover cyber issues; and Federal and State regulations and leading frameworks including NIST, ISO, and SOC 2.
