The Vice President, IT Americas, will play a critical role in driving our IT vision and strategy for the Americas region (US, Canada, LATAM). You will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing IT team, fostering strong relationships with business stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of IT services and solutions in the markets to drive growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Strategy:
- Execute a comprehensive IT strategy for the Americas region, aligning with global IT objectives and business needs.
- Build and manage a strong IT organization, providing leadership, mentoring, and development opportunities to team members.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the IT team.
- Business Partnership and Influence:
- Cultivate strong relationships with key business stakeholders, understanding their needs and challenges.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the business on technology matters, providing insights and recommendations.
- Ensure IT services and solutions are aligned with business priorities and deliver value.
- Influence various stakeholders across business and IT to drive change and transformation
- Operational Excellence:
- Oversee the delivery of IT services and solutions, ensuring high quality, reliability, and efficiency.
- Focus on continuous improvement and the implementation of best practices in terms of measuring and tracking IT service management.
- Manage IT budgets and resources effectively for the region.
- Implement and maintain appropriate IT governance and controls.
- Technology Innovation:
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends, identifying opportunities to leverage them for business advantage.
- Drive the adoption of new technologies and solutions, ensuring successful implementation and integration.
- Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of diverse IT professionals across NA and LATAM markets, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. An MBA from a reputable university is preferred.
- Over 10 years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a focus on retail or consumer goods industries and multiple international brand environments.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective regional IT strategies.
- Proficient in working with SAP AFS/Fashion, APTOS, and other retail processes and integration needs.
- Experienced in leading Sales Force Commerce Cloud initiatives and SFCC knowhow along with digital tools to drive market growth
- Extensive business partner experience representing the regional business needs and priorities to work with global teams.
- Experience in representing a region and leading change in an S/4 HANA transformation journey a must.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, and security.
- Proven LATAM market support and management.
- Multi-language skills (English, Spanish) are an asset.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to navigate and influence global standards while advocating for regional priorities
- Ability to build strong relationships with business stakeholders.
- Experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 10-20%)
