Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Data Management Manager, you will serve as a liaison between Business and Functional areas and technology to ensure that data related business requirements for data are clearly defined, communicated and well understood and considered as part of operational prioritization and planning. You will establish and oversee an enterprise data management roadmap, data governance, data quality management (DQM), Information Architecture, MDM/Reference data management and data operations for Human Resources Group Data Warehouse,

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement data quality standards, data protection standards and adoption requirements across the enterprise
  • Collaborate with IT&S to Build and manage data integrations among disparate systems
  • Define roles and responsibilities related to overall data management and ensure clear accountability for stewardship of the HRG's principal information assets
  • Define indicators of performance and quality metrics and ensure compliance with data related policies, standards, roles and responsibilities, and adoption requirements
  • Responsible for Data products as delivery of reports to HRG stakeholders and customers
  • Lead, manage and develop AGILE Data Delivery.
  • Work closely with business partners, managers and project managers to deliver on business needs.
  • Serves as a key business/technical expert for business partners leveraging current and emerging technologies where appropriate.
  • Engage in highly complex business initiatives requiring data design or integration of technical solutions across the business
  • Anticipate and resolves problems systematically. Provides assistance and guidance to peers and subordinates.
  • Effectively influence/negotiate with business/technology partners, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate across other technology and infrastructure teams to provide quality solutions.
  • Establishes and builds effective relationships with business and technology partners
  • Develops team members through ongoing coaching and feedback, rewarding results, providing meaningful development plans, and invoking progressive discipline process when necessary.
  • Recruit members of the data management team.

  • Experience leading / driving a Data programs
  • Depth in data quality management (DQM) vision, processes and tools
  • Deep knowledge of data modeling, metadata management, and tools strongly preferred


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • 1+ year(s) of experience in leadership role is required
  • 5+ years of experience in data management experience or equivalent experience in the data field is required
  • 10+ years of experience in multiple data technologies and processes such as MDM, data architecture, data modeling, data governance, data quality is preferred
  • Experience managing Scrum Masters, PMs, or project component leaders is preferred
  • Experience in data integration technologies and operations is preferred
  • AGILE / Scaled AGILE background is preferred
  • Knowledge of big data tools and architectures a plus (i.e. Hadoop, Data Lakes) is preferred
  • Experience with latest Data presentation tools such as Tableau, Business Objects etc is preferred
  • Experience with MDM tools is preferred
