Zurich North America is currently hiring a Senior Business Systems Analyst to work in our Chief Data Office reporting to the AVP, Machine Learning Operations. He/she will work in a hybrid schedule out of our Schaumburg, IL, North America HQ.
The Senior Business Systems Analyst will serve as an Agile development team member, working closely with business partners and the Chief Data Office. He/she will provide solutions for business systems needs and will understand business objectives, processes and products He/she will also work closely with application and development teams to support systems capabilities to formulate, define, document and implement changes within scope and objectives.

This individual will collaborate with the team to translate business needs/requirements into technical specifications/user stories for product increments while working in an Agile environment supporting the design, construction and implementation of these updates to the applications. The ideal candidate will be an individual that is an energetic and a skilled professional requiring minimal supervision who operates as a servant leader within the team.

The compensation indicated represents a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for geographic differentials pertaining to the location where the position may be filled. The proposed salary range for this position is $85,500.00 to $140,000.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 15%.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or computer science or engineering and 8 or more years of experience in the Information Technology area OR
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 10 or more years of experience in the Information Technology area AND
- Experience with process modeling tools.
- Insurance application system design/analysis experience.
- Experience with use case development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background working in an Agile Scrum methodology.
- Extensive experience with Excel.
- Extensive experience with SQL Server or other relational databases.
- Extensive experience with SQL queries.
- Experience with Databricks.
- Background working in a data foundation background.
- Experience in an analytical role on complex enterprise project.
- Knowledge of the insurance or financial services industry.
- In-depth knowledge of insurance business processes and processing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
