Senior Full-Stack Cloud Engineer (Remote Only Swing Shift Start Noon PST)

versions frequently), continuously deploy daily (Full CI/CD pipeline using Gitlab

As a Senior Full-Stack Cloud Engineer at Next Gen Math, you will work with a team of
skilled developers to build new features, identify and fix bugs, test code, guide and
support other developers, and collaborate with team members and stakeholders in
order to define project requirements, and prioritize tasks. You will also play a crucial role
in our DevOps processes, ensuring seamless integration, deployment, and monitoring
of our cloud-based applications to maintain high availability, performance, and security.
This is a full-time work-from-home opportunity. All applicants must be authorized

Day-to-day you will:
Write clean and maintainable code for new features, support existing
functionality, and fix bugs.
Test your work to ensure it delivers fully functional product features.
Collaborate with the team to design efficient architecture and encourage
innovation.
Use GitLab to track code changes, manage issues, and conduct code reviews.
Mentor and guide developers, sharing best practices and knowledge.
Participate in planning and design discussions to align development with
business goals.
Maintain and monitor the cloud platform stability
Coordinate with team members in various time zones.
Requirements / Technologies:
7+ years of experience as a full-stack developer
Strong skills needed in PHP8+, Laravel 9+, JavaScript, VueJs 2+, HTML, CSS,
SCSS, Git, YAML, JSON
Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker) and their orchestration
(Kubernetes)
Experience developing and delivering real-world web applications
Strong foundational knowledge in mathematics, including K-8 levels, Algebra, Geometry,
Trigonometry, and Calculus
Proficiency with Cloud Platform providers, Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
experience preferred
IAC Terraform experience
CI/CD pipeline experience Gitlab CI/CD experience preferred (update)
Deep appreciation for simple solutions to complex problems
Self-motivated and adaptable to changing technologies and requirements
Self-directed, independent, and has experience owning complete
features/products
