Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, including individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations.
- Lead tax planning, compliance, and consulting engagements.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, offering strategic tax guidance, solving complex issues, and delivering impactful solutions.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
- Conduct tax research and problem-solving to address complex issues.
- Contribute to business development initiatives, including identifying opportunities for expanding client relationships and services.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and industry trends to deliver the most effective solutions.
Qualifications
- Master's in taxation, MPA, or BS in Accounting.
- CPA certification preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience, with a strong emphasis on tax.
- Proven expertise in tax planning, compliance, and consulting for businesses, individuals, and non-profit clients.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage client relationships and lead a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on exceptional client service.
- Familiarity with CCH Engagement and Axcess Tax software is a plus.
