Day Shift - 7.5 Hours (United States of America)
The Registered Nurse will utilize the Nursing process to plan and implement patient care to achieve optimal patient outcomes. She/he will educate patients and caregivers to achieve self-management of health and/or chronic disease. The RN will assess patient response to care plan and revises as needed. She/he will coordinate aspects of care plan requiring testing and/or referral to specialty care. Identifies and addresses barriers to care. Prioritizes nursing actions, reflecting patients' needs acuity and desired outcomes. Recognize change in patients' condition and intervene appropriately. The nurse will also be assigned to primary care doctors as well as specialists.
Requirements:
-BSN required
-BLS certification required
-Outpatient experience in Pediatrics and Adult Medical Primary Care and Specialty Clinics required
-Demonstrates Competency in core & unit-specific clinical skills
-Knowledge of PCMH requirements, VFC vaccine requirements and vaccine schedules for Children
- Meditech and Athena knowledge preferred
-Aware of Point Of Care testing and requirements
-Knowledge of Article 28 standards
Salary Range: $56.869/hr - $65.753/hr (Commensurate with Experience)
Schedule: Monday-Saturday between 8:30 AM and 8PM, shifts vary between 4hr, shifts and 7.5hr shifts
