Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to provide services in application development, documentation, training, troubleshooting, and maintenance. The role involves working with AVEVA/Wonderware's Archestra Control System, Microsoft Visual Studio C# applications, AVEVA Operations, Performance and Quality MES modules, AVEVA Work Tasks Business Process Management (BPM) software, and more. You will be responsible for creating and modifying applications, migrating reports, and ensuring data security and compliance.
Responsibilities
This position can be based in Dallas, TX or Ohio. The role offers a hybrid schedule with mandatory onsite presence on Mondays and Thursdays and remote work on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Onboarding and training require onsite presence for shadowing purposes. Benefits are 100% covered by the employer. Relocation assistance includes a lump sum amount upon completion, full cost of real estate commission for home sale (up to 6%), and reimbursement for professional pack and move service. A sign-on bonus is provided, paid in the second week of employment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $175000.00/yr.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications for AVEVA/Wonderware's Archestra Control System including graphics, troubleshooting, and MES applications.
- Modify and create Microsoft Visual Studio C# applications.
- Work with AVEVA Operations, Performance and Quality MES modules.
- Utilize AVEVA Work Tasks Business Process Management (BPM) software.
- Manage Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) based on AVEVA MES modules.
- Use AVEVA's BI Gateway to consolidate and aggregate data from different sources.
- Work with Rockwell PLCs to provide necessary MES data and functionality.
- Develop reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI Report Server and Microsoft Power BI Power Platform.
- Migrate SSRS and Tableau reports to Power BI.
- Create data feeds to external partners using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (2019+).
- Manage Microsoft Server, Microsoft SQL Server (2019+), and Microsoft Reporting Services.
- Gather and understand business requirements for data visualization and analysis.
- Collaborate with engineers and analysts to acquire, clean, and transform data for reporting purposes.
- Create complex DAX calculations and measures to support data analysis.
- Ensure data security and compliance with best practices.
- Travel up to 25% to other internal sites.
- 7+ years of experience in Controls, Automation, or MES Engineering.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Software, or a similar field.
- Proficiency with SQL server databases.
- Experience with MES or SCADA systems.
- Proficiency in building reports with Power BI or similar database/software.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the year.
- Ability to read ladder logic.
- Experience with Aveva/Wonderware.
- Proficiency with Power BI.
- Knowledge of liquid processes.
