SHINE Technologies is seeking an Electrical Engineer who will have ownership in all phases of electrical design, coordination with other internal engineering groups (I&C, Process, Nuclear, Structural, etc.), procurement of equipment, commissioning, and start-up. Based on experience level of the candidate, this role could be hired as a senior level role.
The base salary range for this position is $83,000-$135,000 annually plus a comprehensive compensation package. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

Description

Duties and Responsibilities:
Specific duties and responsibilities include of the Electrical Engineer include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare specifications, calculations, drawings, and test plans to support the design, new construction, testing, commissioning, in-field troubleshooting and operation of the medical isotope production facility.
- Work with Procurement organization to procure equipment
- Monitor and provide guidance to contract engineers and engineers of record for the normal electric power supply system
- Provide support to Construction by processing requests for information, engineering change requests, work packages, and reviewing document submittals
- Work with electrical inspectors (Authorities Having Jurisdiction) to assure compliance of SHINE electrical systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- 5+ years experience in designing low voltage power engineering duties
- Working knowledge of the National Electric Code, Life Safety Code, Building Codes, IEEE standards, and IEC standards
- Experience with conduits, cable trays, cable selection, terminal/connection drawings, panels, and panel design
The following are considered a plus:
- Experience in electrical design meeting NRC regulatory requirements
- Professional engineering license with the ability to obtain a Wisconsin professional engineering license
- Profeciency in Electrical Design tools such as AutoCad Electrical or Solidworks electrical
- Familiarity with SCADA or PLC systems preferably Allen-Bradley
- Greenfield Experience - from design through construction and startup
