- Support management, processes, and overall improvement of Global Security's Process Engineering program.
- Strengthen Security Programs by designing and optimizing critical security processes while enhancing security controls, standards, and technical solutions.
- Manage a diverse portfolio of Security Program initiatives and security process improvement projects, ensuring effective implementation and alignment with organizational goals, Objectives, and Key Results (OKRs)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and execute process improvement projects utilizing principles and methods of engineering analysis and design.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews to assess process expectations and Critical-to-Quality characteristics, utilizing Six Sigma tools such as Voice of the Customer, SIPOC, Value Stream Mapping.
- Utilize process engineering principles to collect and analyze data to measure process capability and adherence, conduct cause-effect analysis, and determine reasons for performance gaps.
- Lead re-engineering workshop sessions, working with teams to gain crucial input from key contributors.
- Develop metrics and dashboards, collect and analyze data to drive process improvements, and measure adherence, performance, and effectiveness.
- Support the Global Security department in designing, measuring, analyzing, improving, monitoring, and supporting core and supporting processes.
- Research, plan, and recommend process improvements.
- Lead implementation of process improvement initiatives. Including change management communication plan, training, and support.
- Utilize appropriate engineering and computer-assisted design software to perform simulations to identify process waste and resource constraints and perform predictive analysis.
- Develop documentation related to security processes; provide stakeholder demonstrations and training as needed.
- Technical understanding of underlying software development processes and technologies to facilitate process implementation changes.
- Identify, analyze, translate, and document business process specifications to be used by development teams for process and system automation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Global Security and Divisional teams to enhance processes' overall delivery and support.
- Conduct periodic process reviews to ensure process maturity and continuous improvement.
- Manage and control confidential and/or sensitive information.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lead and solve complex issues and apply analytical thinking to identify innovative solutions.
- Working knowledge of process engineering methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Lean Thinking, Total Quality Management, and/or Kaizen.
- Must possess exceptional analytical skills and demonstrated use of statistics, data analysis, and process engineering tools (SIPOC, Value Stream Mapping, Voice of the Customer, Pareto Analysis, Process Mapping, Process Requirements, etc.)
- Understands Lean concepts, problem-solving, data collection and interpretation, variation and process capability, cost analysis, elimination of waste, and process and quality improvement.
- 3+ years' experience working as a Sr or Lead Process Engineer, leading process improvement projects.
- 10+ years' experience working as a Business Analyst, writing requirements in a technical department or with a software company.
- Working knowledge of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, emphasizing requirements elicitation.
- Experience in working with engineering and computer-assisted design software.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization, including virtualization.
- Strong research and investigation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, as well as the aptitude to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Teamwork: curiosity, friendliness, and a desire to collaborate with dynamic teams
- Ability to guide management and employees towards collectively achieving desired results.
- Advanced knowledge in using process modeling software (MS Visio, Lucidchart), using Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN 2.0)
- Experience with work/task management, project management, and productivity tools (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow, Smartsheet, MS O365, Clarizen.)
- Proven facilitation skills with previous experience designing workshops, facilitating sessions, and working with teams to gain crucial input from key contributors.
- Strong understanding of security best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to apply project management principles.
- Experience using Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban)
- Knowledge of Business Process Management (BPM)
- General understanding of cybersecurity principles
Education/Certification
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering or related discipline preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- Masters' Degree in Business, Information Services, Statistics, or Engineering is preferred.
- Lean or Six Sigma Certification at Green or Black Belt level
- CISSP Certification is a plus
- Business Analysis Certification (CBAP - Certified Business Analysis Professional) preferred.
