Role summary:
We are seeking a goal-oriented and data-driven Senior Product Verification Engineer to ensure the safety, quality, and regulatory compliance of Panther's MAP devices. This role demands expertise in verification and validation testing, including novel protocol development, design of experiments (DOEs), hands-on testing, data analysis, and comprehensive reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research and development (R&D) and experience contributing to successful product development, including commercialization and/or first-in-human studies.

Role responsibilities:
This role will work closely with our Senior Director of Device Development to:
- Formulate testing procedures, compile detailed reports, and craft engineering overviews, leveraging a strong foundation in technical documentation.
- Assess user requirements, compliance with standards, and risk assessments to establish design criteria and engineering objectives that incorporate principles of manufacturability, ease of assembly, and compatibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers and manufacturing, to define testing requirements, ensure timely delivery of test results, and suggest improvements in device, manufacturing, and process design.
- Lead process improvements within testing activities and advocate for best practices in test design and execution
- Engage in partnerships with academic entities to advance diverse technological applications.
- Construct and present PowerPoint presentations that articulate technical design evaluations to interdisciplinary team members.
- Experience with the design, development, and validation of electrical, mechanical, and/or software systems.
- 5+ years of experience in V&V methodologies, quality control, process transfer, test case creation, execution, and documentation
- Experience with root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and failure investigation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to create clear reports and present findings
- Experience in Microsoft Office Software (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Works well in a team-based environment and able to complete individual tasks
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
