Job Description:
The industry advisor role for Servitization focusses on guiding manufacturing and technology driven organizations through their servitization journey, helping them transition through product-centric models to service-led initiatives that enhance customer outcomes and profitability. This role will lead cross-functional teams to analyze market trends and to identify & drive digital transformation initiatives for service-driven revenue of customers.
The role is responsible for working in tandem with the various sales, pre-sales & solutions Teams of IOT & DE and contextualizing the solutions for the client. The role reports into the global head -advisory and through her to Industry Subunit Head responsible for the business segment. The role is strategic in nature, with high visibility and responsibility.
The following would be some of the key roles and responsibilities:
i. Analyze the customer requirement (Proactive pitch, RFI, RFP) to arrive at the best fit / innovative Servitization solution to meet customer needs.
ii. Drive proactive strategic account mining activities to identify and shape the opportunities of Servitization by sharing techno commercial proposal
iii. Maximize business opportunities by proactively driving and shaping downstream opportunities by sharing techno commercial proposals
a. TCV (Total Contract Value) of advisory (direct and downstream) engagements
b. Influenced Revenue for Large deal shaping
Qualifications:
Graduate in Engineering, preferably Post Graduate in Engineering / Management

- Engage with the CXO leadership in key accounts to build long term relationships to sight Servitization opportunities ahead of their formal bidding, shape the opportunities.
- Position our Industry Solutions / Services with our clients in the context of their business challenges from an entrepreneurial and holistic perspective with innovative Servitization ideas.
i. Analyze the customer requirement (Proactive pitch, RFI, RFP) to arrive at the best fit / innovative Servitization solution to meet customer needs.
ii. Drive proactive strategic account mining activities to identify and shape the opportunities of Servitization by sharing techno commercial proposal
iii. Maximize business opportunities by proactively driving and shaping downstream opportunities by sharing techno commercial proposals
- Lead Advisory engagements to define Servitization strategies, build business case to obtain buy-in from executive sponsors of the strategy.
- Provide oversight into large / strategic transformative engagements with our clients, participate in steering committees in advisory / partner role
- Engage with different sales and advisory teams of TCS to architect and articulate advisory services to address the client needs
- Actively participate in leading industry events and forums and be recognized as a thought leader KPIs relevant for the role
