POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Strategic Leadership & Digital Workplace Innovation:
- Define and execute the digital workplace strategy, ensuring alignment with Swinerton's broader enterprise IT and business objectives.
- Oversee the governance, implementation, and adoption of Microsoft Teams Premium, Copilot, and Power Platform to enhance productivity and collaboration.
- Identify and implement best practices for digital workplace governance, security, and compliance.
- Stay informed about emerging digital workplace trends, AI-powered solutions, and automation capabilities to continuously enhance Swinerton's technology stack.
Microsoft Suite Management:
- Manage the Microsoft Enterprise Agreement (EA), ensuring optimal licensing and cost efficiency.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Microsoft relationship management, licensing, and contract negotiations.
- Drive application utilization analysis, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
Solutions Development & Optimization:
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable, user-focused digital solutions leveraging Microsoft Power Platform, Teams, and other Microsoft tools.
- Manage a developer resource to build and support automation, integrations, and advanced solutions.
- Ensure new solutions align with Swinerton's enterprise IT architecture and security policies.
Training & User Adoption:
- Develop and execute training programs to enhance adoption and effective use of Microsoft tools across the organization.
- Create self-service enablement resources, including guides, documentation, and training materials.
- Partner with business leaders to identify use cases for AI, automation, and workflow optimizations.
Governance & Compliance:
- Establish and maintain a governance framework for Microsoft tools, ensuring security, compliance, and efficient management.
- Collaborate with IT security teams to align digital workplace strategies with organizational risk and compliance policies.
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
MINIMUM SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in digital workplace technologies, Microsoft suite management, or IT strategy.
- 5+ years managing enterprise collaboration tools, including Microsoft Teams, Power Platform, and Copilot.
- 4+ years overseeing vendor relationships and Microsoft Enterprise Agreements.
- Expertise in Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
- Strong knowledge of Teams Premium, Copilot, and other Microsoft AI/automation capabilities.
- Experience with application utilization tracking, automation, and business process optimization.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to drive enterprise-wide technology adoption and change management.
- Excellent communication, training, and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with ITSM frameworks and tools for managing support processes preferred.
- Experience with advanced automation solutions and AI-powered tools preferred.
- Experience with data analytics, business intelligence tools, and advanced automation solutions preferred.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices for digital applications preferred.
