Job Description

Responsible for coordinating all project efforts, administrative and technical, to bring projects to life. Acts as the primary client liaison for multi-family, retail, and/or mixed-use projects. Coordinates design efforts among an internal team, which could range from 2-8 people. Provides mentorship to junior staff, serving as a resource for growth and professional development. Manages project budgets, schedules, and programs.
Responsibilities

  • Coordinate design efforts among an internal team of 2-8 people.
  • Provide mentorship and professional development resources to junior staff.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and programs.
Essential Skills
  • Project management experience on applicable projects (multi-family, commercial, retail)
  • Proficiency with Revit
  • Experience in construction documentation and administration
  • Project coordination

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Must hold an accredited degree in architecture with 10-15 years of experience
  • Must be a licensed architect or on the path to obtaining a license
  • Proficient with AutoCAD and REVIT
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Experience in multifamily, mixed-use, and retail projects is preferred
Work Environment

The firm is a sixty-year-old, award-winning company located in the West Loop with about 40 architects and a small design team. The office is an open-concept space with lots of natural light and individual workspaces for each employee. The location is surrounded by numerous restaurants in the vibrant West Loop area. The team has a strong push to stay community-involved and finds many ways to give back. The company offers a hybrid work schedule with 4 days in the office and 1 day remote. Expected hours are from 8-9 AM to 5-6 PM each day, with flexibility around start and end times, provided there is communication with the team. The firm also emphasizes a great work/life balance, with many outings and a lively office culture.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $48.08/hr.
