Director, Office of the President (Chief of Staff)
The Director, Office of the President, Horizon Media Holdings is a unique developmental opportunity. As the Director, Office of the President, you will gain experience working on top priority issues, and exposure to senior executives, building your network across Horizon Media Holdings business units, senior leadership, and outside the company. The candidate will develop a deep understanding of company strategy and operations, its challenges, and successes, and gain a broad understanding of how Horizon Media Holdings "works" as a company. This is, potentially, a career boosting experience for prospective leaders of the company who can leverage the experience from this role to shape leadership and general manager skills for future roles. This is a rotational role; term generally to last approximately one year, but may end sooner or run longer, depending on need and fit.

This position will report directly to the President, Horizon Media Holdings.

What You'll Do

Tactical:
  • Own operational oversight and management of the President, Horizon Media Holdings' office working with the Executive Assistant to ensure meetings, schedule, travel and other day to day operations run smoothly.
  • Create and maintain executive communication system including (but not limited to) in person communications, presentations, client and partner preparation and meetings, internal communication, messaging and social presence.
  • Project management all office activities and initiatives on behalf of the President.


Strategic:
  • Lead Horizon Media Client Transformation initiatives
  • Identify and own the execution of key company strategic initiatives.


Requirements
  • Experience in the Marketing / Media profession preferred.
  • Posses consulting and financial expertise.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with highest levels of leadership internally and externally.
  • High energy and mental stamina to keep pace with the responsibilities and mission of a senior executive.
  • Learning agility to rapidly absorb and build upon new, provocative ideas.
  • Ability to ruthlessly prioritize competing demands.
  • Interpersonal and relationship building skills; ability to read others and react accordingly.
  • Strong collaboration skills; ability to influence without direct control and decision-making capability.

  • Ability to travel on demand.


Physical Activity and Work Environment
  • Position is required to work in New York, NY.
  • Position has currently been designated as hybrid, contributing from the office a minimum of three days a week.

Salary Range
$160,000.00 - $200,000.00

A successful applicant's actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual's skill sets, experience, training, education, licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role. As an organization, we take an aptitude and competency-based hiring approach.
