We are seeking a SAS Administrator to join our Enterprise Data Platforms team. The SAS Administrator will work with IT teams, end users, developers, management, and IT Infrastructure departments. As a SAS Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and performance of the company and ensuring data is stored securely and efficiently. You will work with architecture, operations, and security teams to implement and protect Zions data. Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and maintain SAS/BI environments.
  • Perform upgrades, patches, and vulnerability management for supported applications.
  • Monitor system performance, usage, and capacity to ensure high availability and scalability. Manage metadata, user access, and security policies.
  • Perform regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and execution.
  • Develop and maintain SAS programs to meet business reporting and analytics needs.
  • Perform ETL processes on diverse data sources, utilizing SQL and SAS for data querying and manipulation to meet reporting needs.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate SAS/BI tools to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • 24 X 7 On Call responsibilities for various applications
  • Manage and resolve service requests and incidents.


Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience in SAS/BI Administration and development (Tools like SAP Business Objects, Power BI).
  • Hands-on experience with SAS products in cloud environments.
  • Ability to query and analyze data from relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Greenplum, Cloudera/Data Lake, DB2).
  • Experience and knowledge of US banking operations, including deposits and escheatment processes, as well as lending knowledge.
  • Experience with server infrastructure, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field. A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.


Certifications (Preferred):
  • SAS Certified Platform Administrator
  • SAS Programming Certifications


Location:

This position has a hybrid work from home schedule with a minimum of three days per week in the office at the new Zions Technology Center in Midvale, UT.

The Zions Technology Center is a 400,000-square-foot technology campus in Midvale, Utah. Located on the former Sharon Steel Mill superfund site, the sustainably built campus will be the company's primary technology and operations center.
