Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced ETL / Data Movement Developer to join our enterprise data warehouse team. This is a remote role requiring strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, SQL, and data warehouse architecture. You will support critical data movement processes and ensure performance, quality, and reliability of ETL workflows while embracing values of customer-centricity, continuous learning, and team collaboration.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter across multiple data warehouse subject areas.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize existing Informatica mappings, sessions, and workflows.
  • Ensure data integrity and timely delivery of data through monitoring and on-call support.
  • Participate in 24x7 on-call support rotation and escalate issues as needed to meet SLA commitments.
  • Document ETL logic, workflow processing, and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Utilize SQL on Oracle and/or Teradata to perform data analysis and transformation.
  • Support Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS) for automation and job scheduling.
  • Follow SDLC and release management processes, using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Proactively learn and expand knowledge in SAS Basic, Teradata BTEQ, SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS.
  • Write clean, reusable, well-documented, and optimized code in adherence to enterprise standards.
  • Work independently within a virtual team environment and contribute to team success.


Required Skills:
  • 8-10 years of ETL development experience in enterprise data warehouse environments.
  • 8-10 years of hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL with Oracle and/or Teradata.
  • 5-8 years of experience designing and maintaining Tivoli Workload Schedulers.
  • Experience with UNIX and shell scripting.
  • Solid understanding of ETL architecture, data modeling, and performance tuning.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, deliverables, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working remotely in virtual teams (minimum 3-5 years).
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.


Preferred Skills:
  • Exposure to SAS Basic, Teradata BTEQ scripting.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS.
  • Experience in data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
  • Prior experience with release management and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.


Education: Bachelors Degree

Certification: SQL Server Reporting Services , SQL Server Integration Services , SQL Server Analysis Services
