The Sourcing Manager reports to the Sr. Purchasing Manager and is responsible for sourcing, identifying potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies analyzing market trends, supplier performance, and purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities. This position may oversee smaller projects within the procurement function in support of the Sr. Purchasing Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Facilitate sourcing and managing the RFP process, leading initial market research and vendor profiles to assist in vendor selection.
- Collecting and interpreting purchasing data including cost analysis reporting, benchmarking expenditures, and return on investment.
- Analyze material costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions, including pricing, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
- Ensuring timely and accurate order placement, tracking, and delivery.
- Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks, such as disruptions, price fluctuations, and quality issues.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to sourcing activities, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as purchasing specialist and operations management, to ensure alignment and meet business needs.
- Manage sourcing budgets and ensure spending is within allocated limits.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Business, or equivalent work experience.
- Procurement and Supply Chain certifications a plus.
- 5+ years of sourcing experience preferably in the oil and gas or relevant industry
- Team player and display good communication and writing skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to understand and articulate the total value of a deal or negotiation
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
