Overview
NURSING MANAGER
Pay: $90,000 - $100,000 per year

Join us at Embark's short term adolescent residential treatment center in Hobble Creek, Springville, Utah located in the scenic Wasatch Mountain Range where you can enjoy year round fun that includes skiing, hiking, golfing, horseback riding and much more!
Students live in a family style residence where community and interpersonal relationships are encouraged. Our staff offer guidance and support to adolescents and their families that include multi-modal family system approaches to amplify and solidify change.
Responsibilities
Leadership and Team Management: Select, train, evaluate, reward, and discipline a team of Nurses and Medical Assistants. Parent Engagement: Respond promptly and professionally to parent inquiries, ensuring effective communication. Budget Oversight: Manage the nursing budget efficiently, ensuring optimal allocation of resources. Safety and Cleanliness: Monitor residences for cleanliness and safety, overseeing safety drills as per policy. Treatment Team Collaboration: Contribute actively in weekly interdisciplinary Treatment Team meetings within your assigned house and at a company-wide level. Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with Assistant Clinical Directors at each campus to maintain unity between Residential and Clinical staff, policies, and practices. Medical Assessment: Respond to reports of pain or sickness promptly, conducting assessments and determining appropriate care for students. Health Monitoring: Check vital signs and weight of students as assigned, maintaining accurate records. Medication Administration: Accurately disperse student medications and maintain the Medication Administration Record. Narcotics Tracking: Count and track narcotics diligently during every shift. Behavior and Mood Monitoring: Monitor students' mood, behavior, and affect, particularly when initiating new medications, and chart findings. Lab Coordination: Correlate lab draws for students and administer, read, and record Tuberculosis tests. Communication and Coordination: Communicate pertinent medical information to the Treatment Team and Psychiatrist verbally or in writing. Psychiatrist Schedule Coordination: Correlate and manage the Psychiatrist's schedule efficiently. Infection Control: Manage Infection Control Data Analysis effectively. Additional Duties: Execute any other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the nursing team.

Responsibilities
Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Nursing.
- RN License through the Utah state board of nursing.
- A minimum of 1-year management/supervisor experience in nursing.
- Registered Nurse for at least 5 years with a minimum of 3 years of clinical psychiatric/mental health nursing care past working experience minimum.
