Must-Have:
Masters Degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a related field.
Advanced skills in crisis management, group facilitation, clinical documentation, and compliance.
Description:
Candidates must have a valid state license.
Each clinician will have a workstation with dual monitors for documentation.
There is one administrative assistant in the front office.
Patient ratios are 12:1.
Documentation system is Meditech Magic.
Schedule is Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 16:30, with a 30-minute meal break.
Patients have a lunch break from 12:00 to 13:00, which staff can also use for lunch or meetings.
Professionalism and conduct, compassionate patient-centered care, and clinical service standards are essential requirements.
The unit performs group psychotherapy, group psychoeducation, process groups, de-risking patients, admissions, and discharges for adults and adolescents aged 13-18.
Dress code requires black scrubs or business casual attire; dark jeans are acceptable on Fridays, provided they have no holes or tears.
Billing sheets, census, and group notes must be completed by the end of the day.
The work environment values safety and learning.
Most staff members are working towards clinical licensure.
Staff rated over 90% in feeling respected on the most recent employee engagement survey.
The unit has a great team environment with a high-performing team.
Leadership is supportive and involved.
The team consists of a director, a team lead, one administrative assistant, one full-time RN, two PRN RNs, and eight clinicians, including LPCs, LCSWs, residents, and supervisees.
The environment is safe and patients are mostly voluntary.
There are direct admission processes for stepping up patients to a higher level of care.
The workload is divided among team members for running groups, charting, documentation, treatment plans, and psychosocial assessments.
No medications are administered on the units.
Adolescents are accommodated in a separate adjoining suite.
Construction is set to begin on an adjacent suite to expand services.
The unit comprises various psychiatrists, including those specializing in addiction and adolescents.
