About the Job Opportunity
As a key member of the People & Culture leadership team, the Manager, Talent Acquisition plays a critical role in driving the hiring strategy for a fast-paced, growth-oriented company. This is a hands-on leadership role, overseeing a team of experienced recruiters managing end-to-end hiring processes across the PartsSource family of companies. The Manager, Talent Acquisition is responsible for ensuring a high-quality, data-driven, and consistent hiring experience that aligns with the company's culture and business needs. This leader will optimize hiring practices, drive operational excellence, and partner with key stakeholders to attract top talent in a competitive market.
*This is a hybrid position with in-office work expected Tuesday-Thursday at our Hudson, OH or Hoffman Estates, IL office.

What You'll Do
Talent Acquisition Strategy & Leadership
- Lead and develop a high-performing recruiting team, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development.
- Establish best-in-class hiring processes, ensuring a consistent and scalable approach to intake, interviews, selection, and hiring.
- Partner with business leaders to understand workforce needs and develop strategic hiring plans that align with business goals.
- Manage full-lifecycle recruitment for senior-level positions across the organization.
- Provide governance to the operating budget for talent acquisition and ensure cost-effective hiring strategies.
Recruiting Operations & Vendor Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all talent acquisition vendor relationships, including job boards, Glassdoor, and outsourced hiring partners.
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts to optimize services and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee and enhance the applicant tracking system (Greenhouse), ensuring data integrity and process efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with hiring policies and employment regulations.
Performance Metrics & Continuous Improvement
- Develop and track key hiring metrics, including time-to-fill, quality of hire, and recruiter productivity.
- Establish SLAs and KPIs for recruiters, summarizing data for business updates on hiring trends and successes.
- Drive process improvements to enhance candidate experience and hiring outcomes.
- Utilize data-driven insights to refine recruitment strategies and decision-making.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with HR Operations and HR Business Partners to align recruiting efforts with broader HR strategies.
- Work closely with hiring managers to provide consultative support on job requirements, competency-based interview processes, and candidate evaluation.
- Partner with Finance, Sales, and Operational leadership teams for ongoing workforce management planning, forecasting, and adjustments based on business performance.
- Act as a trusted advisor on talent acquisition best practices, competitive market trends, and innovative sourcing strategies.
- Foster an inclusive hiring culture that attracts diverse talent and strengthens the company's employer brand.
What You'll Bring
- Proven track record of successfully leading high-volume recruitment efforts in a matrixed organization with multiple locations across the U.S.
- 5+ years in talent acquisition with a minimum of 3 years managing a team
- Strong ability to translate business strategies and objectives into effective hiring plans through partnership with hiring leaders.
- Experience making data-driven decisions and leveraging analytics to optimize hiring processes.
- Expertise in developing creative solutions for both high-volume and specialized hiring needs.
- Preferred experience in in-house, RPO, and staffing/agency recruitment models.
- Industry experience in software, private equity, or healthcare is a plus.
- Background in HR or HRBP roles preferred.
Technology & Tools
- Experience in Greenhouse ATS (required), configuration/implementation experience preferred.
- HRIS & recruitment analytics tools
- LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and sourcing platforms
