We are seeking an energetic, creative, and highly motivated AWD Sales Manager to join our strong and passionate team. This role is critical to identifying new customers and opportunities, maintaining existing relationships, and leading AWD growth initiatives. You'll work directly with the Director of Sales and Marketing and support key customers and end users on Class 6-8 AWD vehicle conversions.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Build, manage, and grow customer relationships within the Class 6-8 AWD market.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to drive long-term growth.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to meet and exceed customer expectations and timelines.
  • Travel to meet new and existing customers to reinforce a strong, positive perception of Marmon-Herrington.
  • Deliver accurate AWD conversion quotes promptly to customers.
  • Develop and manage an AWD strategic growth plan while identifying new adjacent market opportunities.
  • Maintain clear, professional communication with customers and internal teams.
  • Support marketing initiatives within the AWD business segment.
  • Support order tracking/management and OE inside sales efforts when needed.
  • Participate in customer service and sales support activities as required.


QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
  • Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Clear, professional communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, maturity, and resilience.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general business technology.
  • Ability to travel 35%-45% across the United States (dealers, end users, body builders, municipalities, etc.).
  • Comfortable navigating both strategic selling and field support conversations.
  • Resilient and persistent - comfortable with both the rewards and challenges of a dynamic sales environment.


QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:
  • Sales or customer relationship management experience.
  • Mechanical or automotive background (trucks or AWD systems).
  • Electric Utility industry experience.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
  • Louisville, KY strongly preferred. (Remote candidates will be considered based on experience and fit.)
