Summary
We are currently recruiting for a Strategy Manager who will play a key role in structuring ambiguous questions and solving complex problems to drive the implementation and execution of effective solutions. This role will report to the Senior Director of Strategy and will regularly work directly with leadership throughout the organization and across key functions.
This is an onsite role at our Salisbury, MD Corporate Offices.
The salary range for this position is $84,000 -$126,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The Manager, Strategy will receive frequent and comprehensive coaching from other members of the Strategy and FP&A teams to facilitate the successful execution of the following activities:
- Support the annual 5-Year Strategic Plan process, including developing multiyear financial plans with business leads, defining strategic objectives, and identifying long-term industry trends
- Manage Strategy Projects with Foods Commercial, Supply Chain, and AgriBusiness groups as needed
- Support Corporate Development activities as needed, including acquisitions and divestitures
- Establish trust, collaborate, and build consensus with Business Unit leads across both business segments and in all functions to support and drive decision making
- Drive the formation and implementation of strategic projects, including identifying key root causes and developing and tracking KPIs
- Support the development and refinement of presentations and other deliverables for senior management and the Board of Directors
- Analyze information from disparate sources to support data driven strategic decision making
- Collaborate with FP&A on ad hoc projects and routine activities as needed
Minimum Education and Experience Required
Education:
- BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Business, or another relevant quantitative field
- Superior academic performance
Experience:
- 5-7 years of relevant and progressive experience in Corporate Strategy, Management Consulting, Banking, or another relevant area
Skills:
- Demonstrable ability to structure and develop materials and communication for executive audiences
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills (including PowerPoint and presentation skills)
- Exceptionally strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including extensive use of Excel
- Proactive team player with ability to identify and drive innovative approaches to address new challenges with eager intellectual curiosity
- Strong project management skills with proven ability to drive for results, manage risk, and pivot with changing priorities
- Ability to quickly analyze, synthesize, and solve complex problems independently in a constantly changing environment
- Supervisory experience with direct reports at the analyst level
Preferred Education & Experience:
- MBA or other advanced quantitative focused degree
- Experience in CPG, Foods, or Agribusiness
- Orientation towards client service
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
- Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.
- May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.
- May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
- Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
