Network Engineer

Axxys Technologies, Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network infrastructures for our clients. You will work closely with our clients to understand their networking needs and deliver scalable and secure network solutions that enable them to optimize their operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and cloud networking solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor network performance and conduct regular assessments to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions with existing systems.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to network configurations, topologies, and procedures.
• Conduct network security assessments and implement security measures to protect client data.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in networking.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in network engineering or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and IP routing protocols.
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Familiarity with routing and switching technologies (Cisco, Meraki, etc.).
• Understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent networking certifications are highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
