Celtic Bank is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead complex projects. These project focus on large platform migrations and transformations, such as core banking platforms. This role involves close collaboration with executive stakeholders, external vendors, and internal departments across diverse domains. The Project Manager will ensure successful project delivery by providing strategic oversight, detailed planning, executive reporting, overall project leadership, and facilitating key decisions and follow-through. Moreover, it is likely this role will have a mild blend of product management at times.

Essential Job Functions
  • Manage critical, large, complex projects with interdependent workstreams across internal teams and external vendors.
  • Manage relationships with executive stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clear communication of project goals, requirements, decisions, timelines, and risks.
  • Collaborate with external vendors, service providers, and internal to ensure project integration.
  • Develop and maintain executive-level reporting and dashboard to facilitate summarizing project progress, driving decisions, and highlighting risks and dependencies.
  • Facilitate key decision-making processes by presenting data-driven insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
  • Provide detailed project tracking, including: budget, scope, resources, milestones, and similar.
  • Uphold project governance by adhering to Celtic Bank's standards and processes.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple, simultaneous, complex projects with cross-organizational dependencies and high risk factors.
  • Extensive experience working with executive stakeholders in strategic planning, reporting, and decision-making.
  • Proficiency in using project management tools and workflow management tools, such as MS Project, Monday.com, Jira, Teams, and similar.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with external vendors and service providers on high-impact initiatives.
  • Strong background coordinating across multiple internal departments and domains in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain and translate technical issues in order to communicate with team members, management, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to manage issues, impediments, and project complexities.
  • Organization and time management skills.
  • Excellent resource planning and task scheduling skills.
  • Expertise in risk management, decision facilitation, and executive reporting.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, manage competing priorities, and adapt to dynamic challenges.
  • Agile, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or equivalent preferred.

Physical and Other Requirements

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.   • Work Model: The employee in this position will work either a fully Onsite or Hybrid work model. All employees, regardless of location, may be required to travel to the Salt Lake City office for mandatory company meetings, events, or related occasions.
    • Utah-based employees: Hybrid work schedule available after initial training period in our Salt Lake City, Utah office - department and job requirements will determine eligibility.
