The Learning and Development Program Manager oversees the comprehensive learning solutions for the Americas Operations organization, fostering innovative and effective learning approaches. You will collaborate with Operations teams to gather requirements and develop project/learning plans that support learner needs and learner-centric experiences that align with business objectives. This role necessitates strong analytical skills to identify opportunities for employee development through change and creativity. You will create technical training in various applications, including eLearning, on-demand, VILT, ILT, blended learning, job aids, and more. This role encompasses program and content development, as well as facilitation. This role requires a combination of business acumen, technical expertise, strategic vision, and tactical execution. Description Identifying training needs within various departments, aligning with operational goals and challenges. Create and develop training materials, programs, and tools, including both in-person and online learning, with consistent quality and timeliness. Deliver training sessions, workshops, and webinars, ensuring engaging and effective learning experience. Assess and understand the effectiveness of training programs, gathering feedback, and making necessary adjustments to optimize learning outcomes, and communicating the overall impact of learning content on business operations to leadership. Manage learning projects from needs analysis to deployment, considering the complexities of a diverse audience. Present, defend, and influence development plans to senior leadership both internal/external to Apple and cross-functional stakeholders on a regular basis. Drive, influence, and develop long-term strategic initiatives that shape the future of learner development. Identify process improvement opportunities and drive solutions from conception to implementation.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Education, Instructional Design, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, or relevant field required.
- Relevant direct and/or intersecting experience with a corporate L&D organization, e.g., instructional design, adult learning, curriculum curation/development, and/or classroom delivery/facilitation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant direct and/or intersecting experience with a corporate L&D organization, e.g., instructional design, adult learning, curriculum curation/development, and/or classroom delivery/facilitation.
- Knowledge of operations: Enabling understanding & translation of specific needs of the operations departments: Supply Demand Management/Execution, Retail Fulfillment Operations, Reseller Operations, Product Launch Readiness, Logistics and Business Process Re-engineering.
- Demonstrated ability to create development plans linked to people/organization goals.
- Superb communication/facilitation skills, incl. interpersonal and influencing skills, relevant to a diverse community (non-managers, managers, sr. leaders).
- Proven ability to partner with key/global stakeholders and executives in a matrixed environment.
- Sharp analytical skills with experience interpreting complex data for informed decision making.
- Ability to adapt positively under pressure and confidence in managing ambiguity.
- Consistent record of working independently - leading global, strategic projects, while executing tactically.
- Excellent foresight, anticipating risks and opportunities beyond the present.
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency in Instructional Design or Curriculum Design a plus
