Job Description:

Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure for the organization based on company guidelines.
Install, configure, and test operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
Ensure the availability of physical and virtual systems and infrastructure.
Plan and implement system automation as required for efficiency.
Collaborate with software development teams to ensure high quality deliverables.
Identify potential issues and integrate possible solutions.
Ensure the system's security is in line with company guidelines.
Document the design, maintenance, and support procedures for routine tasks.
Participate in off-hour maintenance and 24/7 on-call rotation.

Minimum Requirements:

Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
Employer requires 4 years of experience in systems engineering (to include all relevant job titles within the occupation).
Work experience to include: 1) 4 years of experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, hardening, and tuning operating systems, including Unix or Linux. 2) Implementing automation systems using Puppet, Ansible, or Salt. 3) Performing problem analysis and resolution, and monitoring computer system performance to ensure proper operation. 4) Working with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders, product management, development operations, and business units to elicit, analyze, and document system requirements. 5) Preparing reports or correspondence concerning project specifications, activities, or status.
All skills can be gained concurrently.
Position requires participation in off-hour maintenance and 24/7 on-call rotation every 5-6 weeks upon request. Hours adjusted accordingly.
40 hrs./wk.
Salary: $151,757 to $156,757 per year.
