U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Senior Software Engineer - KYC Customer On-Boarding in Tempe, Arizona.

Essential Responsibilities:

The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for supporting ETL processes that comply with policy related changes in KYC (Know Your Customer) regulations and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to extract, transform, and load data into Financial Crimes database. In addition, responsible for maintaining and enhancing applications for risk scoring and customer

screening in accordance with KYC policy. Responsibilities include: full stack ownership of ETL processes by consistently writing production-ready and testable code; including Spark and Python/Scala, Oracle in tech stacks; performing analysis on any Data mismatches, proposing changes and encouraging operational improvements; taking feedback from code reviews and applying changes to send maps to meet standards; gathering and processing large, complex, raw data sets at scale; building processes to support data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management; building the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data; embracing Infrastructure-as-Code and use Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery Pipelines to handle the full data service lifecycle; writing infrastructure, application, and data automated test cases and participate in code review sessions; and providing high level support for troubleshooting and services restoration in Production. Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of worksite location. Multiple positions.

Basic Qualifications:

Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Software Engineering or Computer Engineering plus 5 years as a Software Developer, Data/Software Engineer or closely related occupation.

Required Skills/Experience:

Must possess 5 years of experience in each of the following: Writing production-ready, efficient, and scalable code that adheres coding standards and best practices; troubleshooting and debugging code to identify and resolve issues at various stages of project; working with the business and functional teams in gathering the system requirements; developing and implementing process improvements; SDLC; SQL; Git; Spark; Python/Scala; RDBMS; Oracle; Hadoop; Hive; Linux; Big Data; and Jira. Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of worksite location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $125,281.00 -$137,809.10.
