This role involves hands-on management of systems and networks, ensuring identity and access controls, supporting information system security accreditation, and developing automation to enhance system performance and reliability. This role involves hands-on management of systems and networks, ensuring identity and access controls, supporting information system security accreditation, and developing automation to enhance system performance and reliability. Ideal candidates will bring a blend of technical expertise, security awareness, and the ability to thrive in complex enterprise environments.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer and support enterprise Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
- Manage and maintain VMware vSphere 7 infrastructure.
- Operate Cisco-based network systems and provide troubleshooting and optimization support.
- Oversee physical infrastructure and hardware lifecycle, including Dell servers and SAN storage platforms.
- Support system identity, authentication, and access management functions.
- Participate in the preparation, maintenance, and submission of documentation required to achieve and maintain system authorization.
- Apply automation to improve system deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Evaluate and document technical and security controls in alignment with NIST 800-53.
- Utilize GRC tools (e.g., RiskVision, Xacta, JCAM) to support ongoing risk and compliance tracking.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity professionals to maintain compliance with federal regulations and internal security policies.

Required Experience
Required Qualifications:
One of the following combinations of education/experience:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in related field and 10 years related experience in enterprise infrastructure support, systems administration, or a related role OR
- High school diploma and 18 years related experience in enterprise infrastructure support, systems administration, or a related role.
- Strong technical background in:
- Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory
- NIST 800 series publications and FISMA-related compliance activities
- Practical experience supporting security authorization or accreditation activities.
- Understanding of enterprise system and network architectures.
- Ability to document technical processes and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- TS/SCI Clearance; US Citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with:
- VMware vSphere 7 administration
- Cisco network systems
- Dell server hardware and SAN storage management
- Automation and scripting for system tasks
- GRC tools such as RiskVision, Xacta, or JCAM
- Familiarity with the ATO lifecycle, including control implementation and evidence generation.
