If you are a Sr. Technology leader with a passion for driving transformation, innovation and growth, then eBay is looking for you.

We are looking for exceptional hands-on technical leaders with a proven track record. This is a senior Individual contributor leadership role in the Search engineering team. This team is responsible for real-time services powering user searches, eBay's home grown C++ search engine (Cassini), and data indexing and distribution. Beyond powering user search, the platform is also a highly-available high-speed datastore for all inventory data which is consumed by all apps and experiences across eBay.

They will play a diverse and far-reaching role in the organization, providing leadership and influencing adoption of technical solutions, strategies and design patterns across multiple teams and stakeholders. As Search is so key to eBay buyer's and seller's success, Search is a key partner for many teams. The successful candidate will have demonstrated the ability to thrive in highly matrixed organizations, collaborating with a broad range of teams. This leader will have excellent acumen in using their technical prowess and ingenuity in representing eBay's Search capabilities in internal and external forums.
