About the Private Capital Markets Group
Baird's Private Capital Markets (PCM) Group is a leader in providing bespoke financing solutions across the entire capital structure to our clients in the U.S. and Europe. Our equity product capabilities include highly structured minority equity and equity-linked securities for private issuers, PIPEs, and company-led secondary liquidity solutions. Our debt product capabilities include asset-based, 1st & 2nd lien, unitranche, mezzanine, high-yield and other structured debt instruments. We assist clients with growth, acquisition and project financings, refinancings and recapitalizations, strategic partnerships and joint ventures. We work across all industries and partner with Baird's vast network of industry coverage bankers to optimally position our clients for successful transactions. We advise management, shareholders and Board members through complex financing processes and deliver solutions to support our clients' strategic objectives. Our team possesses strong relationships with a broad universe of investors globally, including private equity, hedge funds, family offices, alternative capital providers, banks, and non-bank credit funds, creating competitive processes that optimize pricing, terms, speed and certainty.

As an Analyst in the Private Capital Markets team, you will:
- Assist in the preparation of financial models, company marketing materials and client presentations
- Manage investors throughout capital raise process including facilitating their diligence
- Perform research and various analyses in support of thematic publications and new business generation
- Gain an expert understanding of the drivers of credit quality and valuation, the mechanics of credit agreements and investment documentation, market dynamics and the landscape of debt and equity investors
- Develop your skills through broad exposure to clients, investors, and Baird bankers
What we look for:
- Familiarity with corporate finance concepts and private equity and debt markets
- Candidates must have a proven academic record and interest in finance
- The ideal candidate will have (i) an enduring work ethic and track record of success; (ii) the ability to function equally well in both a team setting and on a self-directed basis; (iii) excellent mathematical, writing, and computer skills
- Series 63 & 79 licensing preferred or ability to quickly obtain

Additional Details:
Compensation Information:
- Min: $110,000 - Max: $125,000 Annual Salary
- Merit-based bonus
