In this position...

Lead Marketing Communication strategy and audience development plans for brand, nameplate, and other initiatives within Ford Blue business unit; aligning business objectives with marketing priorities. Goal is to support strategy and coordination of all marketing communications functions to achieve business and brand objectives.

Responsibilities

What you'll do...
  • Lead the establishment and evolution of annual cross-functional marketing plans in accordance with business objectives, vehicle launches
  • Develop industry-best audience insights that derive media, creative and broader marketing initiatives for the purpose of demand generation and/or cost efficiency
  • Act as both an automotive industry expert in educating the marketing team on trends, and also lead the transformation of marketing as the foremost expert on strategy and audience insights
  • Lead the briefing process and/or consult on all briefs to ensure initiatives have a business-driven purpose and clear, measurable objectives
  • Lead prioritization discussions for the best allocation of resources, aligned to business and marketing priorities
  • Guide the development of best practice audience technology development with third parties including Experian, S&P Global return to market and current loyal owner audiences, etc.
  • Drive cohesion between all marketing functional leads across social, creative, event, interactive and retail service marketing for the development of aligned plans to achieve bowler objectives
  • Lead strategic development of brand and nameplate initiatives
  • Act as a brand steward to ensure consistent and cohesive application of strategy (cascades the strategy and acts as an ongoing resource throughout development)
  • Work with Marketing Intelligence and GCI to set reporting plan and review reports prior to distribution to ensure valuable and actionable insights
  • Work closely with GCI on consumer and communications research
  • Manage relationship with agency strategy leads
  • Manage both Strategy and Audience teams


Qualifications

You'll have...
  • 5-10 years of marketing experience
  • Strong business acumen
  • Marketing communications experience
  • An understanding of media strategy
  • A deep understanding of the consumer
  • Automotive industry experience
  • A proven track record for coordinating and project leading marketing campaigns, brand strategy and marketing operations
  • Experience dealing with advertising agencies
