Required License/Registration/Certification

Licensed Professional Engineer (PE); or Licensed Registered Architect (RA); or Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) - Licenses, registrations, or certifications must be obtained at the date of hire or within one year of the hire date and maintained thereafter as a continuing condition of employment.

Job Summary

This position oversees the design, integration, and implementation of real time predictive maintenance for facilities assets, ensuring the transmittal and analysis of data from numerous sources in real time; Directs strategic predictive and preventive maintenance optimization by implementing mitigating tasks to improve the reliability of critical assets; integrates predictive maintenance into existing maintenance strategies and workflows; monitors and evaluates live asset condition data and utilizes this data analysis as the foundation for maintenance protocols, ensuring predictive maintenance happens in real time, exactly when and where it's needed; ensures predictive maintenance saves money and helps get more use and extended lifespans from existing assets; minimizes the identification of operational anomalies, potential equipment defects, and maintenance frequency to avoid unplanned outages and unnecessary preventive maintenance costs; establishes a data governance program backed by key stakeholders to ensure high-quality and sufficient historical data; shares comprehensive understanding of the financial implications of predictive, preventive, and automated technologies; implements fundamental and sophisticated troubleshooting techniques for solutions to complex problems; and educates staff to swiftly adapt to new circumstances, adjust, and perform tasks based on what is necessary for any particular issue or time.

In addition, the Director for Predictive Analytics & Assets Management oversees the systematic process of developing, operating, maintaining, upgrading, and disposing of assets in the most cost-effective manner; Directs the establishment and maintenance of an integrated building and infrastructure asset management plan for an accurate asset inventory and provides for an assessed condition score on buildings and building systems as an overall university asset; ensures processes and resources are in place for reliable physical assets and operating systems for Facilities Management at UK Healthcare and main campus; oversees the process to ensure reliability, optimum performance, and increased efficiency for building systems, building performance, and enterprise infrastructure; and directs the maintenance of the Renewal and Replacement Integrated Project List and updated budget estimates.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

MS Windows/Office; Business Administration; Safety and Environmental Compliance Statutes; Construction Building Codes; Fiscal Acumen; SAP.

Demonstrated experience in higher education and healthcare construction and design is highly desirable; Knowledge in developing and maintaining facilities condition assessments, including building envelop/infrastructure and major equipment; Knowledge and experience utilizing Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Total Equipment Performance (TEEP), Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), and Reliability Centered Maintenance tools,

Experienced in utilizing asset management when making strategic decisions affecting capital investment, asset renewal, and/or preservation.
