Description:

ICONIQ Capital is looking for an individual to assist with the administration of US, Singapore and UK based health and welfare benefit programs including 401(k) retirement plans, and participation in benefit initiatives and projects. Provide support to the VP of Benefits and Associate, Benefits.

What You'll Do:
  • Primary point of contact for active and terminated employees, benefit plan vendors and HR Business Partners for benefit related inquiries and plan provision explanations. Work closely with the Benefits team members, insurance carriers and brokers on enrollment and eligibility questions and issue resolutions.
  • Manage the Benefits inbox, including ensuring timely responses to inquiries and updating of templates and process documents. Escalate urgent or sensitive requests to the Associate or VP, Benefits.
  • First point of contact for new hires including sending new hire benefit communications, benefits orientation and ensuring new employees understand their benefits and how to make their benefit elections.
  • Accurately maintain employee benefit records and documentation in the benefits platform, HRIS system and drive folders.
  • Review and reconcile monthly insurance carrier invoices, working closely with the Finance and HR teams to ensure timely and accurate payments. Working with the carriers to reconcile differences and correct discrepancies. Maintain organized and accurate billing records.
  • Assist in the annual compliance filings including Form 5500, ACA reporting, and other regulatory reporting requirements and audits.
  • Assist in open enrollment activities including answering employee questions, participating in open enrollment set-up meetings and audits.
  • Assist with administration of our leave of absence program including handling all communications and leave tracking.
  • Own the administration of our Employee Matching Donation program.
  • Assist with special projects including wellness initiatives and new policies and procedures.


Ideal Candidate Background:
  • Bachelor's degree and minimum 2+ years of health and welfare benefit plan experience.
  • Retirement plan administration experience a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of state and federal laws and compliance regulations, including COBRA and HIPAA. Knowledge of California state law a plus.
  • Microsoft Office skills including Excel and Word and general benefit enrollment systems and HRIS knowledge.

Location: Applicants are expected to work onsite in our New York office in accordance with our hybrid working policy.

Compensation Range: ICONIQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At ICONIQ, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation terms. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $105,000-$115,000 together with the benefits listed above.
