About the Role
We are looking for a strategic to join our Strategy & Planning team for Uber Eats in Canada. Your responsibilities will include strategic planning, competitive analysis, analytics and automations. In this role, you will play a major role in utilizing data driven analysis to set strategy for the Uber Eats Canada business. You will also help us automate our existing processes. You will also be collaborating closely with cross-functional leaders covering Operations, Sales and Account Management, Marketing, Public Affairs, and Legal.
What the Candidate Will Need / Bonus Points
\\-\\-\\-\\- What the Candidate Will Do ----
1. Partner with stakeholders on building the strategy for Uber Eats in Canada
2. Conduct advanced data analysis to identify business opportunities
3. Develop strategy for Uber Eats Canada and work cross-functionally to execute
4. Identify and execute on automation opportunities within the business
5. Collaborate with a highly cross-functional stakeholder group
\\-\\-\\-\\- Basic Qualifications ----
1. 6+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, strategy, consulting, ideally in tech
2. Experience with analytical tools including SQL, Python, R etc
3. Story telling - Ability to craft a clear narrative with the help of data and present to senior leadership
\\-\\-\\-\\- Preferred Qualifications ----
1. Previous experience in a marketplace tech company in an analytics role
2. Experience with building automations
3. Business acumen - experience in the nuances within a tech / marketplace business and track record in improving these through data driven decisions
4. Nimble and Fast - balance priorities and move quickly in a rapidly changing environment
5. High standards and a bias toward action
For Canada-based roles: The base salary range for this role is CAD$114,000 per year - CAD$127,000 per year.
