Job Description
We are seeking an HMI Engineer to join our team to design, develop, and commission conveyor HMI/SCADA systems for UPS. This role involves managing the entire project lifecycle, from concept development and design to programming, FAT, on-site commissioning, and ongoing support. You will work on multiple projects and collaborate with various engineering disciplines, project management, controls engineering teams, electrical engineering teams, and customer groups.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.

Job Description
We are seeking an HMI Engineer to join our team to design, develop, and commission conveyor HMI/SCADA systems for UPS. This role involves managing the entire project lifecycle, from concept development and design to programming, FAT, on-site commissioning, and ongoing support. You will work on multiple projects and collaborate with various engineering disciplines, project management, controls engineering teams, electrical engineering teams, and customer groups.
Responsibilities
- Design, modify, develop, write, and implement HMI/SCADA/GDU applications using Indusoft and Wonderware.
- Support and/or install software applications, operating systems, computer, and networking equipment.
- Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, execution, witnessing, and certification of software.
- Participate in site commissioning activities.
- Adhere to standard concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Utilize experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Design, plan, and coordinate work teams.
- Provide technical support to project team members.
- Lead and direct the work of others.
- Travel to customer sites up to 75% of the time
- Experience with material handling automated systems or parcel systems.
- Experience with Aveva Edge (formerly Indusoft) or Ignition.
- Proficiency in HMI/SCADA software (Factory Talk, FT Optix).
- Knowledge of PLC programming, Python, VBScript, Rockwell
- UPS project experience nice to have.
