Description:
Under the direction of senior leadership, the Senior Director of Development and Construction Management is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of construction projects within the healthcare system. This role involves overseeing the planning, design, and execution of construction and renovation projects to ensure they meet the healthcare system's quality, safety, and compliance standards. The Senior Director of Development and Construction Management will work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of functionality and design.
Annual Salary Range: $133,057.60 - $196,268.80

Qualifications
Education:
- Requires a bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
- Master's Degree preferred.
Experience:
- Must have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in construction development and management and demonstrate a high level of understanding of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
Certification/Licensure:
- Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) are preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must be able to read and work from construction documents.
- Must have excellent project management, budgeting, and scheduling skills.
- Must have extensive knowledge in construction planning, designing and analyzing structures, engineering plans and specifications, and construction project management.
- Must have expert knowledge of regulatory bodies, state, federal, local requirements, regulations, procedures, governing leases, contracts, services and healthcare construction standards/regulations.
- Must have expert knowledge of project management software and tools.
- Must be a successful leader of people, have strong leadership skills, and the ability to motivate and lead cross-functional teams.
- Must be able to decide how to allocate people, time, and other resources to create, execute, and accomplish an operating or project plan on time and within budget.
- Must have solid analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to utilize the appropriate management techniques to plan, organize, control, and coordinate activities.
- Must be able to manage priorities in a dynamic environment and adapt to change quickly and positively.
- Must demonstrate ability to be self-directed and excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work as a team member with peers, department leadership, staff, and senior leadership.
