Description:

We are seeking a Simulation to Mission Command Interoperability (SIMCI) Architect/ Military Analyst to advise on interoperability between simulation systems and Mission Command systems, identify gaps between simulation systems and Army tactical systems and recommend solutions to interoperability challenges. Provides direct support as part of the PEO STRI Digital Integration Laboratory (DIL) located in Research Park, Orlando, Florida.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)
  • Supports the Simulation to Mission Command Interoperability (SIMCI) Architects using technical and operational expertise regarding the interoperability and integration of Army models and simulation with the six Common Operating Environments (Command Post, Mounted, Mobile/Handheld, Sensor, Data Center/Cloud, and Real Time/Safety Critical/Embedded).
  • Applies knowledge and experience of the PEO C3N Mission Command product line in assessing interoperability between Simulation Systems and Mission Command Systems and communicates interoperability shortfalls to system developers.
  • Conducts technical research and provides recommendations for future system interoperability based on emerging U.S. Army military standards.
  • Applies SIMCI goals and priorities to provide recommendations in support of SIMCI project funding initiatives.


Required Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years work related experience.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain SECRET Security clearance; US citizenship required.
  • Specific and detailed knowledge of military deployment and employment.
  • Specific knowledge of military doctrine and tactics.
  • Broad understanding of military command relationships at the unified and specified command level and operational force employment.
  • Broad knowledge of the procurement process, knowledge of Training Aids, Simulations, and Simulators, and of operational testing.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Former military officer, warrant officer or Senior NCO, training instructor, or other related role in direct support of military operations.
