The Senior Financial Analyst provides financial support to the Director of Finance, VP-Finance, CFO, and Senior Operations Team relating to strategic projects and for monthly and quarterly reporting to the board of directors, banks, and investors. This position will support the Operations team and Product Managers by analyzing business trends and performing analysis as needed. This position reports to the Director of Finance.

Major Responsibilities
  • Support financial analysis needs of Director of Finance, VP of Finance and CFO.
  • Prepare various reports and analysis monthly and quarterly for the board of directors, banks, and investors.
  • Prepare Loan and Money Services budgets.
  • Assist in merger and acquisition activities.
  • Prepare analysis on operations performance and product trends.
  • Evaluate performance and calculate incentive and bonus payments for Operations team.
  • Support corporate departments on business interruption claims and licensing and compliance requests.
  • Lead preparation of Quarterly Business Review reporting.
  • Coordinate and prepare business budgets/forecasts for corporate and regions support departments.
  • Create complex financial models involving cash flow, balance sheet, and income statement projections.
  • Research financial variances and determine explanations for discrepancies.
  • Identify performance improvement opportunities.
  • Use Essbase, Power BI, and other data sources to identify trends and shifts in business performance.
  • Conduct research and analysis to resolve identified issues.
  • Perform other related duties as requested from time to time.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position might require long hours and weekend work.
